Description
El Ambiguo is an Oude Geuze that has matured for 2 years in bourbon barrels. This gave the beer a beautiful intense color and a special wood touch. This gueuze, which was made on the occasion of the 1000th anniversary of the hamlet of Kattem, is refreshing and tender, complex and thirst-quenching. Willem Van Herreweghen, who made the Millennium Geuze together with Armand Debelder at the time, and Koen Christaens only used water, homegrown hops, barley malt and wheat from the Pajottenland as raw materials for the El Ambiguo. Unfiltered and refermented for 6 months and matured in the bottle, this Bourbongeuse is perfect to drink.
