Description
The Pale & Wild Caram-Elle is not an Oude Geuze or fruit beer. Contrary to what the name might suggest, no caramel or candy sugar was added to this spontaneously fermented beer, but dark, slightly toasted malts were added. The amber-colored beer has matured for more than 2 years, some of which even more than 3 years in oak barrels. It has a solid ABV of 9 percent. The aroma is fresh, reminiscent of red fruit. In the taste you will discover typical lambic notes with soft notes of roasted malt. An ideal beer for the winter!
